The big slope of Kaķīškalns is located on the Northern hillside of the ancient valley of the River Gauja and it is ~ 320 m long, the altitude difference is 80 metres. This is one of the sportiest slopes in Latvia and is well suitable for skiers with prior experience.

The small slope of Kaķīškalns is the ~ 100 metres long Southeast hillside and the height difference is 10 metres. This is a very suitable slope for children and beginners, because it is wide and gently sloping.

110 skis and 25 snowboard equipment sets are offered for rental at Kaķīškalns. Each year the equipment is renewed and supplemented.

Adventure Park Mežakaķis is a sporty activity or 'a walk in the trees', and it is designed for people that are fond of active lifestyle and spending time in open air. Mežakaķis is suitable almost for every age and it's a favorite for families and office colleagues. Schoolchildren gladly include it in their excursion routes. Park is built in the forest hillside of the primeval valley of Gauja. On growing trees there are barriers fastened in various heights that are constructed from ropes, nets, and many kinds of little bridges, swings, logs and ladders strained between trees.

After the activities in the adventure park Mežakaķis, after a volleyball game, cycling, or walking, we offer an opportunity to take a shower. You can shower at any time during our working hours!
